The Georgia Tech Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence (VLRCOE) is a competitive center awarded by the US Army, Navy, and NASA. Georgia Tech is partnered with faculty from the University of Michigan, The Ohio State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Washington University in St. Louis.

Faculty

The VLRCOE is a collaboration between  faculty, staff, and graduate students with a proven track record of pioneering advances in vertical lift technology. In addition to ground-breaking research, the school offers an in depth education in Vertical Lift at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Center Alumni

Faculty members of the Georgia Tech Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence have mentored over 80 Ph.D. degree recipients, many of whom are active in the rotorcraft industries and in academia.
